Our Workshops
We enjoy a day of sewing and socal in a small group setting. If you are looking for a hand on something or just need the motivation to get started this is the class for you! Kick off the New Year starting or finishing a project! If any of our projects intrigue you and the dates do not work with your schedule, thats ok! Our workshops provide you with the flexible dates and times for you to join in on our fun quilting projects.
Carol's Corner
If you enjoy hand quilting or hand piecing this is the class for you. Miss.Carol is the sweetest with the most experience we have seen in everything handmade with fabric! Whether you want to try Big Stitch or English Paper Piecing even Hand Embroidery to Colouring on Fabric she is the Quilter for you.
Carol's Corner - English Paper Piecing Hexie Table Topper
Join Carol in making this darling little hexie table topper. Carol will show you how to english paper peice with this project whether you are an experienced hand quilter or not it's fun for all levels. Her classes run 3 times a month on different dates and times for your convenience.
Gail's Block Of The Month - Bliss
Take part in a fun monthly project with Gail over the course of 7 months starting February 19th Wednesday from 1-4pm, cost $30 plus materials. No commitment and work at your own pace. Learning applique techniques and more. Taking one or two of these classes would set you well on your way to for this project.
Ashley's Retreat Bag Class
Join in on the famous Emmaline Retreat Bag! We are excited to be re-introducing this fun zipper bag to our schedule this April. Pick a workshop date of your liking to make either size of this pattern. Perfect project for a beginner level sewer.
Ashley's Crimson Christmas Quilt Class
The Crimson Christmas Quilt is perfect for this years festivities. This is a great opportunity to dig out your 60* ruler or 60* diamond ruler by Creative grids, or my personal favourite is the Super Sidekick. This pattern is also a great way for you to expand your colour shading techniques. Class will be held in May on the different dates provided above.
Carol's Bloom Quilt Class (Hand Embriodery)
Bloom Quilt By Sweetwater is Carol's May monthly project. A lot of you had the pleasure of purchasing this pattern with fabric bundle and are needing that little inspiration to get it started. Carol's monthly Carol's Corners are a great way for this project to get on it's way!
